Job Responsibility:
City Gardens Landscape Construction is a leading Landscape Construction company in Saskatoon . We have a strong team and are looking for 2 more individuals to join for the 2025 season . We have a culture of hard work, creativity, skill and fun! With a Horticulturalist well versed in all aspects of landscape on staff , this position is ideal for anyone interested in learning and working in the Landscape Construction industry.
The ideal candidate will be able to work up to November 1st and will continue working year round as we are in the snow and ice management business. Previous landscape, construction, or manual labour experience is required.
-If you stay on throughout the winter you will receive 75% of your normal income through our SUB program. You will work when there is snow, but get paid approx. 75% of normal earnings if there is no work.
Valid class 5 drivers licence required.
Work will include :
-Assisting with Hardscaping ( Paving stone , retaining wall , stairs) .
-soil placement.
-irrigation.
-planting .
-mulching .
- clean up .
- Machinery operation and vehicle operation required .
-lifting up to 50lbs .
-dusty conditions, including working in all weather conditions .
-some weekend work and overtime depending on weather conditions and time of year.
-Winter work. shovelling driveways using a variety of tools, maintaining commercial walkways etc. Working in cold, dark, early hours, late hours in the winter.

Salary: Starting at $20.00/hr- Must be willing to perform manual work diligiently and efficiently.
