Senior Pastor
First Baptist Church Mount Forest
Description
We are prayerfully searching for a Senior Pastor who has a love for both God’s people as well as for preaching and teaching God’s word, who has leadership and shepherding experience and who is able to minister to our congregational family in various capacities.
Overview of Church and Community
First Baptist Church, Mount Forest, is affiliated with the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec (CBOQ). With a population of 5,000, Mount Forest is a rural community located 70km north of Kitchener, Ontario. We are a multi-generational, multi-cultural congregation of 120-160.
Our focus as a church family remains on the importance of the Word of God, worship and service. We have a rich tradition of seeking to care for people, both at home and abroad. We continue to move forward in family worship marked by excellent music and sound preaching; in family fellowship, that is rich and caring; in service to families, that is practical and people-focused.
Church Purpose | Mission Statement
Our mission at FBC is for people to encounter Jesus Christ, follow Him closely and to let Him transform us into His image.
