Position Summary

The Senior Marketing Specialist is a hands-on marketing professional responsible for driving KenWave's day-to-day marketing activities while helping execute the company's growth strategy. Reporting to the Director of Growth, this role works closely with Business Development, technical teams, and external marketing partners to increase brand awareness, support lead generation, strengthen customer engagement, and contribute to sales growth. This position is ideal for a marketer who enjoys both strategic involvement and hands-on execution. You will be the primary internal owner of marketing initiatives, ensuring campaigns, content, events, digital activities, and sales support materials are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Planning & Execution

• Work with the Director of Growth, BD teams, and external marketing advisor to translate KenWave's marketing strategy into a prioritized calendar of campaigns, content, events, and sales-support activities.
• Own the day-to-day marketing calendar, keep initiatives moving, identify upcoming requirements, and follow through to completion.
• Bring forward ideas and recommendations based on customer needs, market activity, campaign results, and opportunities across the business, while personally executing marketing activities wherever practical.

Brand, Content & Sales Enablement

• Maintain KenWave's corporate brand and ensure consistent messaging and presentation across external communications and marketing channels.
• Write and produce routine marketing content including case studies, client success stories, newsletters, website copy, social-media content, and company updates.
• Create and maintain corporate and sales presentations, PowerPoint decks, brochures, leaflets, and other sales-enablement tools; develop or coordinate roll-ups, booth materials, and other specialized event assets.
• Use graphic-design and AI-assisted tools to create and enhance marketing graphics, presentations, social-media content, campaign materials, and other visual assets while maintaining KenWave's brand standards.
• Proactively identify and develop new materials that support business development, market penetration, and customer engagement.
• Support proposals and RFPs with company information, graphics, case studies, presentation materials, and marketing content as required.

Digital, Social & Campaigns

• Maintain and update KenWave's website content and coordinate with external website resources for technical or more involved updates as needed.
• Manage KenWave's corporate LinkedIn content and support the LinkedIn presence of key senior leaders.
• Support the development and execution of targeted lead-generation and marketing campaigns in close alignment with Sales, Business Development, and external specialists.
• Personally develop campaign messaging, email and digital content, graphics, and supporting sales materials, while coordinating specialized external support where appropriate.
• Work with KenWave's technical team and external marketing resources to develop more involved content such as white papers, industry insights, webinars, workshops, case studies, and client testimonials.
• Track and report on website, campaign, email and social-media performance - including engagement, leads and campaign results - and use the insights to improve future activities.

Events, Conferences & External Resources

• Own the marketing calendar and coordination for KenWave conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, webinars, and other external events.
• Develop or coordinate event messaging, presentations, collateral, booth concepts, graphics, promotional materials, and pre- and post-event activities that support awareness and lead generation.
• Coordinate internal contributors and external specialists to ensure event and campaign materials are delivered on time and aligned with KenWave's brand and commercial priorities.
• Act as the primary day-to-day KenWave contact for the external marketing advisor, website support, designers, agencies, and other specialists. Use external resources where they add value while retaining internal ownership of timelines, follow-up, and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in B2B technology, engineering, infrastructure, industrial, cleantech, water, or another technical environment.
• Demonstrated ability to personally create and execute marketing content, sales materials, campaigns, and event support activities.
• Strong writing, editing, communication, and PowerPoint skills, with a good visual sense for professional marketing materials.
• Experience with websites, social media, email marketing, digital campaigns, and marketing performance measurement.
• Ability to understand technical information and translate it into clear, customer-focused messaging.
• Strong organization and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Experience working with external agencies, designers, or contractors is an asset.
• Experience using graphic-design and AI-assisted tools for content, graphics, presentations, or other marketing applications is an asset.
• Experience supporting conferences, lead-generation programs, RFPs, or B2B sales teams is an asset.

Salary Range: 80K–$125K
