Become a Journeyperson Electrician with Suncor at our Aurora site in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This role is focused on electrical maintenance of our Shovel Fleet to ensure top-tier performance. Suncor is seeking an experienced Electrician for our Maintenance team supporting mining operations. You will work in dynamic industrial environments, maintaining electrical equipment and ensuring safety systems are operational. With five years of experience needed, this role is critical for equipment reliability in mining. Key Responsibilities:
• Execute planned maintenance for electrical systems
• Install, service, and troubleshoot electrical machinery
• Maintain equipment testing and safety systems
• Participate in preventative and predictive maintenance
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams Requirements:
• 5 years of Journeyperson experience in industry
• Experience with mining equipment, specifically shovels
• Valid Alberta Journeyperson certificate required
• High School Diploma or GED needed
