Associate Dean, Health Sciences & Director, School of Nursing – Faculty of Health Sciences, Hamilton, ON

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic and administrative oversight of the School’s educational, research, financial, and clinical activities.
• Serve as Director of the McMaster‑Mohawk‑Conestoga Nursing Consortium.
• Act as a key member of the Faculty Executive Council, overseeing faculty‑wide issues.
• Lead strategic initiatives, champion change and innovation, and foster a cohesive, enthusiastic community of faculty, staff, and students.

Qualifications

• PhD in nursing or a related discipline.
• Record of excellence in academic and clinical leadership.
• Eligibility for licensing as a Registered Nurse in Ontario.
• Internationally recognized scholar and strategic leader with a vision for advancing the School’s mission.

Location & Start Date

McMaster is located in Hamilton, a vibrant city of 500,000 people with a relaxed, culturally diverse atmosphere and excellent public schools. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy local hiking, climbing, and mountain biking. The ideal start date for this position is July 1, 2018.
