Make a difference as a full-time Mental Health and Substance Use Clinician in Cranbrook. Engage youth with crisis intervention and group facilitation to provide vital support. Become a key member of the Cranbrook Mental Health Substance Use Unit, focusing on Youth Intensive Case Management. This role involves coordinating care for adolescents facing serious mental health and substance use challenges. Utilize evidence-based treatment and collaborate with community partners to ensure high-risk youth receive the services they need. Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and manage complex cases in youth
• Provide crisis intervention strategies and assess for suicide risks
• Lead group sessions using Motivational Interviewing techniques
• Collaborate with community partners for holistic support
• Address urgent client needs effectively through teamwork Requirements:
• Master’s degree in applicable field from accredited institution
• Two years of recent experience in mental health and substance use
• Current valid BC Driver's License (Class 5)
• Strong background in adolescent development
