The Ottawa Hospital
Clinical health psychology expertise supports patient assessment and treatment at The Ottawa Hospital on days with eight-hour shifts.
The psychologist joins an interprofessional team providing assessment, consultation, and treatment to patients. The position also offers opportunities in program evaluation, development, and research. Psychologists contribute to clinical service, teaching, training, and doctoral practicum supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessment and treatment to medical patients
- Deliver consultation within an interprofessional healthcare team
- Participate in program evaluation and program development
- Contribute to research, teaching, and professional development activities
- Supervise doctoral-level practicum students and support training
Requirements:
- Doctorate from CPA- or APA-accredited clinical psychology program
- Completion of CPA- or APA-accredited internship
- Registration or eligibility with Ontario psychology regulator
- Declared competencies in clinical and health or rehabilitation psychology
- Experience assessing and treating medical patients with psychological comorbidities
