Hybrid Senior Software Developer in Test

Elevate your career as a Senior Software Developer in Test at MatchBox Consulting Group, located in Vancouver. In this permanent role, you'll join a focused team enhancing scalability and robustness within the organization’s platform. With at least 8 years in software testing and 5 years in test development, you will design automation frameworks and mentor fellow SDETs on best practices in an agile setting. This role requires a robust understanding of Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript and various testing tools. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain automation frameworks and tools
- Define and automate test cases for product requirements
- Conduct issue identification and resolution during testing
- Provide mentorship to team members
- Document automation tools and processes
- Minimum of 8 years in software testing
- 5 years in test development experience
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Familiarity with JUnit, Selenium, or similar testing frameworks
- Experience in API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured
