Senior Java Backend Engineer

Build backend services with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services while working with legacy systems and new applications.
This Java Software Engineer role requires 8+ years of hands-on IT experience and strong backend development expertise. You will design web-based applications, enhance features, investigate defects, and work directly with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases. The position also involves AWS environments, Agile development, Scrum, and JIRA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Java and J2EE backend services and RESTful web services
- Design web-based applications and backend services
- Improve legacy systems while building new features
- Investigate and resolve software defects
- Perform testing and participate in peer reviews
Requirements:
- 8+ years of hands-on IT industry experience
- Strong Java stack, Spring, and Spring Boot experience
- MySQL and PostgreSQL database experience
- AWS cloud environment experience
- Unit testing, TDD, Agile, Scrum, and JIRA experience
