Lead mining engineering delivery from Calgary with design coordination, construction support, and travel to client sites or Stantec offices.Stantec seeks a Project Engineer for its Canadian Mining, Minerals and Metals team. This role supports studies, detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning. You will coordinate technical execution, engineering inputs, schedules, budgets, and client communication across project phases.Key Responsibilities:
Direct engineering and design teams through project phasesCoordinate technical execution with project managementMonitor engineering budgets, progress, and schedulesManage engineering-related change processesReview deliverables for safety and constructabilityRequirements:
Degree or diploma in a mining-related technical fieldAt least five years' heavy industry experienceExperience in surface or underground miningPrevious Project Engineer experience on engineering projectsValid driver's licence and willingness to travelApply mining engineering, project coordination, and technical execution skills across Stantec projects serving Canadian clients.
