We are a one-stop shop specializing in Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Fuel System, Mechanical, Electrical and Landing Gear component MRO services, Component Distribution, in-house and on-site NDT solutions for commercial and military aircraft. Our rapid growth means that we are constantly seeking skilled and talented individuals to be part of our growing team. An employment opportunity at AAS now exists for a Landing Gear Technician.
Job Description and Responsibilities
As a Senior Component Technician, you will perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, assembly, and testing of aircraft components. In this role you will utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Requirements include carrying out all maintenance tasks in accordance with the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), service bulletins (SB) and Airworthiness Directives (AD) specifications. As part of this role, you will be responsible for recording all tasks pertaining to work orders and caring out all procedures to meet quality control requirements. You will also be required to assist junior technicians with the maintenance of components, and coach them as required to develop their skills.
