Allied Universal is seeking Security Professionals in Guelph, ON .

Position: Security Guard

Location: Guelph, ON

Payrate: $18.39 per hour

Status: Part Time 

Shift: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat ; Swing / Rotational Shifts

Overview:

Allied Universal is seeking experienced Security Professionals, to oversee one of our sites in Guelph, ON . The ideal candidate is a seasoned individual with excellent communication skills, willing to work night shifts, and able to work with a dynamic security team. If you have  experience as in residential security, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

Requirements:

• Atleast 6 to 12 months Security experience.
• Must live in Guelph, ON.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and wireless technology.
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License .
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 24 hours a week.
• Valid First Aid and CPR is a must.
• Valid Driver's Licence is an asset.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to monitor and ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, documenting incidents, irregularities, and any equipment malfunctions.
• Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and other property staff.
• Maintain a professional attitude towards training and security protocols, including emergency response and communications.
• Address and resolve resident complaints, ensuring total client satisfaction.
• Support property management with any additional tasks as required.
