Job Description

We are currently looking for a Labourer to join our team in Laval .

The Labourer will play a key role in the daily operations of the site. The successful candidate will be responsible for sorting, handling, and preparing metals. This is a dynamic position that combines manual labour, physical work, and teamwork in an industrial environment.

What you will be responsible for :

• Assist with unloading materials;
• Sort, inspect, and identify different types of metals;
• Assess the quality of incoming materials;
• Weigh metals and complete the required data entry;
• Operate various equipment and machinery, as needed;
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with health and safety standards;
• Perform any other related duties to support site operations.

Qualifications

• You are comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks;
• You work safely and follow health and safety procedures;
• You are responsible, resourceful, versatile, and enjoy working as part of a team;
• You are able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment;
• You have experience in metal recycling or operating a forklift (an asset).
