The Opportunity

The Resident Care Attendant reports to the Executive Director or the Director of Care and is responsible for ensuring and supporting the implementation and evaluation of resident care services in accordance with provincial standards, guidelines, and regulations to maintain the highest standard of resident care at all times. What You Will Do

Assist residents with activities of daily living and provide personal care services in a manner that promotes choice, involvement, and participation to the greatest degree possible. Assist in the delivery of meals, housekeeping, laundry, and therapeutic recreation programs. Be resident‑centered in your approach and model our values in all interactions with the public, team members, residents, and their families. Participate in the delivery of social, recreational, and therapeutic programs including group activities, outings, and special events. What You Will Bring

Graduate of a Health Care Assistant program from a college recognized by the Post‑Secondary Education Commission. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Genuine interest and concern for the well‑being of seniors. Registered with the BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry. What We Offer
