Software Engineer I for AI Observability

Join Honeycomb as a Software Engineer I, focusing on AI observability in a fully remote role. Contribute your software engineering expertise to enhance observability for AI systems. At Honeycomb, you will be part of a talented and inclusive team dedicated to helping clients understand their AI agents’ performance. In this junior engineering role, your responsibilities will include building observability tools and contributing to data models that track agent behavior. Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to create intuitive features that enhance user experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end AI observability capabilities
- Develop the data model for agent observations
- Build systems for analyzing AI-specific signals
- Collaborate on intuitive product features
- Share insights on AI system behavior
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficient in Go, Python, TypeScript, and React
- Experience with customer-facing SaaS features
- Navigated ambiguity in fast-moving fields
- Bonus: Familiarity with LLM or observability tools
