We're a lively, full-service Italian restaurant built around thoughtful food, warm hospitality, and a strong food and beverage program. We're looking for an exceptional  General Manager to lead our River District location.

This is an opportunity for an experienced restaurant leader who wants to do more than simply operate a successful restaurant. We're looking for someone who wants to develop people, strengthen culture, drive the business forward, and play an important role in the continued growth of Bufala in one of Vancouver's fastest-growing neighbourhoods.

This role is about far more than scheduling shifts and running service. It's about building a great team, creating an exceptional guest experience, understanding the numbers, identifying opportunities, and taking genuine ownership of the restaurant you lead.

You'll work closely with our leadership team while having the autonomy to bring ideas forward, make an impact, and help shape what's next for Bufala River District.

What You'll Be Responsible For…

• Leading all day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Hiring, coaching, developing and holding accountable a strong FOH team while working closely with the Chef and BOH leadership.
• Creating a positive, high-performance culture built on trust, respect and accountability.
• Driving exceptional guest experiences and consistently high service standards.
• Developing managers and future leaders within the restaurant.
• Managing labour, budgets and overall financial performance.
• Inventory control, ordering and cost management.
• Maintaining high standards across service, food, beverage and restaurant presentation.
• Building efficient systems and routines that allow the restaurant and its people to perform at their best.
• Identifying opportunities to grow sales, build guest loyalty and strengthen Bufala's presence within the River District community.
• Working alongside our leadership team on promotions, events, partnerships and new initiatives.
