We are looking for a hardworking, punctual individuals to fulfill a full-time position as a Communication and Dispatch Coordinator
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Duties and Responsibilities
Schedule and dispatch waste collection vehicles to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules and customer requests.
Communicate with customers, drivers, and waste management team to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
Adjust routes as needed based on changes in customer requests or road conditions.
Record information, such as driver routes, driver hours, vehicle service dates, and customer complaints.
Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers.
Monitor progress of drivers to ensure that routes are completed.
Respond to any emergencies or urgent issues that arise during the dispatch process.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in dispatch or a related field, preferably within the waste management industry.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in using dispatch software and other relevant computer applications.
Knowledge of geographical areas serviced.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Operational Hours
7 AM to 6 PM (Monday to Friday)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
