What You'll Do:

As a Home Support Worker, you'll provide essential care and assistance to individuals in need, including:

Personal Care & Support:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming

Nutrition & Meal Preparation:

• Preparing nutritious meals and snacks tailored to dietary needs.

Companionship & Emotional Support:

• Providing friendly conversation and social engagement.
• Encouraging independence and self-care.
• Assisting with cognitive and emotional well-being.

Household Assistance:

• Helping with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Managing laundry and household organization.
• Ensuring a safe and comfortable living space.

This course consists of virtual and in-person training. The following is required for attendance in the program:

• Internet access
• A laptop or device that has a webcam and is compatible with Microsoft Teams (CarePartners equipment will be available to attend training upon request)

What The Role Involves:

CarePartners HSWs provide professional, compassionate care in homes and residences in the community. HSWs assist with activities of daily living, allowing patients and families to live life to the fullest with dignity and independence:

• Bathing, showering, personal hygiene
• Dressing
• Meal preparation
• Transferring/repositioning
• Light housekeeping
• Bowel/bladder care
• Socializing and companionship
