Key Responsibilities: <\/span>

Vehicle Diagnostics & Repair <\/span>
<\/h3>

• Review work orders and discuss repair requirements with the supervisor. <\/span>
  <\/li>
• Inspect vehicles in operation and perform road tests to diagnose issues. <\/span>
  <\/li>
• Use computerized diagnostic equipment and testing devices to identify faults and malfunctions. <\/span>
  <\/li>
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate defects and determine repair requirements. <\/span>
  <\/li>
• Diagnose faults and confirm findings with the supervisor before repairs. <\/span>

  Maintenance & Servicing <\/span>

  • Perform scheduled maintenance services including: <\/span>
    <\/div>

    • Oil changes <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Lubrication services <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Tune -ups <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Tire mounting and balancing <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Wheel alignments <\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
    • Test and adjust repaired systems according to manufacturer specifications. <\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>

      Automotive System Repairs <\/span>
      <\/h3>

      Repair, adjust, or replace components of: <\/span>
      <\/p>

      • Fuel systems <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Brake systems <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Steering and suspension systems <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Engines and drivetrains <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Emission control and exhaust systems <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Cooling and climate control systems <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Electrical and electronic systems <\/span>

        Documentation & Customer Service <\/span>

        • Complete repair reports and service documentation accurately. <\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Advise customers regarding completed work, vehicle condition, and future maintenance requirements. <\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Provide professional customer service. <\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Coach and mentor apprentices when required. <\/span>

          Salary:

        • Flat Rate: CAD $40.00 per hour <\/span>
          <\/li>
        • After obtaining Journeyperson Trade Certificate: CAD $50.00 per hour <\/span>

          Requirements <\/h3>

          Education: <\/span>
          <\/h2>

          • Completion of Secondary School (High School) is mandatory. <\/span>
            <\/li><\/ul>

            Experience: <\/span>
            <\/h3>

            • Minimum 6 years (72 months) of automotive repair experience. <\/span>
              <\/li>
            • Minimum 9,360 hours of relevant work experience. <\/span>
              <\/li>
            • Experience diagnosing and repairing passenger cars, SUVs, and light trucks. <\/span>
              <\/li>
            • Hands -on experience using scan tools, hand tools, and automotive repair equipment. <\/span>
              <\/li>
            • Must be eligible to obtain a Journeyperson Certificate as an Automotive Service Technician in Canada. <\/span>
              <\/li>
            • Must be eligible to apply for Trades Competency Verification (TCV). <\/span>
              <\/li>
            • Candidates must be willing to challenge the Canadian trade theory examination upon arrival. <\/span>

              • Valid driver's license (equivalent to Class 5) is required. <\/span>
