Instrumentation and Control Engineer - GCM Consultants

You will leverage your 10+ years of experience to carry out SIL validation calculations, write Safety Requirements Specifications, and prepare detailed quotes. Your teamwork skills and resourcefulness will be essential in overcoming challenges while participating in P&ID reviews and supervising technical drawings. Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out SIL validation calculations
• Write Safety Requirements Specifications (SRS)
• Produce instrument and control valve specifications
• Supervise technical drawing preparation
• Develop comprehensive test procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering
• Member of the Order of Engineers of the Province
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the field
• Functional safety certification or in-depth knowledge of IEC-61511
• Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial automation an asset
