Job Description

Maximiser les ventes et les bénéfices du magasin afin d'atteindre un taux de rendement acceptable pour les investisseurs et d'atteindre les objectifs de bénéfices fixés. Gérer les actifs du magasin, y compris l'encaisse, les stocks, les véhicules et le mobilier. Effectuer le suivi des dépenses, dont les paies des employés, pour atteindre les objectifs de bénéfices. Gérer le personnel du magasin. Embaucher suffisamment de personnel pour servir les clients de manière professionnelle et rapide, et atteindre les objectifs de service à la clientèle inégalé.

Responsabilités

  • Gérer les opérations quotidiennes du magasin et les relations avec les clients commerciaux pour dégager un maximum de bénéfices pour un minimum d'investissement.
  • Embaucher, former, développer et gérer le personnel de coéquipiers professionnels. Effectuer un suivi auprès des représentants commerciaux à temps partiel et à temps plein.
  • Remettre des avis disciplinaires et évaluer le rendement des employés. Agir à titre de formateur auprès de l'assistant-gérant en lui fournissant une formation individuelle sur toutes les opérations, politiques et procédures du magasin.
  • Effectuer un suivi de la tarification pour les clients afin d'assurer un contrôle strict de la marge bénéficiaire brute.
  • Établir un budget et gérer les paies quotidiennes ou hebdomadaires pour atteindre les objectifs de bénéfices fixés.
  • Travailler avec les équipes de vente et le directeur régional des ventes au détail pour mettre sur pied des promotions visant à atteindre ou à surpasser les objectifs de bénéfices.
  • Effectuer un suivi de toutes les dépenses pour assurer que le magasin respecte le budget fixé.
  • Utiliser des procédures de recouvrement uniformes pour les comptes clients et garder les dossiers à jour. Superviser tout ce qui a trait au recouvrement. Offrir aux professionnels des ventes extérieures une formation sur les procédures de recouvrement.
  • Organiser des réunions mensuelles en magasin auxquelles doivent assister tous les coéquipiers. Donner des formations sur les politiques et procédures ainsi que des renseignements à propos des programmes de vente de l'entreprise et des événements en cours. Favoriser le travail d'équipe, gérer les primes incitatives, etc.
  • Superviser les tâches des coéquipiers du magasin afin d'assurer le respect des politiques et procédures. Appliquer toutes les politiques et procédures de sécurité pour la protection des coéquipiers, des actifs et des biens immobiliers du magasin.
  • Utiliser les programmes mis sur pied par l'entreprise pour effectuer le suivi et gérer l'investissement dans les stocks du magasin.
  • Utiliser occasionnellement un véhicule de l'entreprise pour livrer des pièces et de l'équipement aux clients.
  • Superviser le réapprovisionnement des stocks et y participer au besoin.
  • Peut devoir mélanger de la peinture, utiliser une machine à fabriquer les tuyaux hydrauliques, vérifier des démarreurs et alternateurs, utiliser une presse à roulements de moyeu, meuler des volants d'inertie, usiner des tambours et disques de frein, vérifier et charger des batteries et effectuer d'autres tâches spécialisées.
  • Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives.
  • Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships/sales, including building and holding team accountable to executing Customer action plans.
  • Selection, hiring, development, performance management, coaching, scheduling and engagement of store Team Members.
  • Ensure execution of all inventory and operational standards.
  • Coach all Team Members to deliver on Customer expectations (DIY and Professional).
  • Manager on duty responsibilities (touch base/coaching, floor/phone management, task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
  • Ability to lead change management.
  • Embrace diversity and foster a respectful environment for both Customers and Team Members.
  • Provide DIY service including battery installation, testing, wiper install, etc.
  • Assist District/Region in other functions upon request.

Expérience requise

4 - 6 Years of experience. Expérience de service à la clientèle et de vente dans le marché secondaire de l'automobile, tant en distribution qu’en vente au détail, ou dans une industrie connexe. Expérience de supervision. Une expérience de travail antérieure en magasin avec responsabilités progressives de supervision et de gestion des opérations quotidiennes peut remplacer les exigences de scolarité.

Compétences et habiletés requises

  • Connaissance considérable du marché secondaire de l'automobile et compétences mécaniques avec compréhension des systèmes automobiles (électrique, refroidissement, charge, transmission, fuel, etc.).
  • Compétences en gestion d'entreprise.
  • Aptitudes manifestes pour la vente, la gestion du personnel, la communication et l'organisation.
  • Bon dossier de conduite et réussite d'une évaluation pré-embauche pour démontrer la capacité à effectuer les tâches physiques du poste de façon sécuritaire et efficace.
  • Working knowledge of automotive systems preferred.
  • Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with Customers, peers and upper management.
  • Use Microsoft software effectively (Word, Excel required; PowerPoint preferred).
  • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, sales increases, and gross profit percent.
  • Hold others accountable, inspect work quality and give feedback in an inspiring way.
  • Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Éducation et certifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), Bachelor’s degree in business or a related area preferred. Must have a valid driver's license. ASE Certification Preferred, but not required.

Exigences physiques

Le travail implique principalement marcher ou rester debout. Le personnel doit être capable de parler, écouter, utiliser mains et doigts, atteindre avec les bras, grimper ou se pencher, et stoquer, kneel, crouch, ou crawl. Souvent lever et/ou déplacer jusqu’à 50 livres et occasionnellement jusqu’à 100 livres. Besoin d’une bonne vue proche, distance, couleur, profondeur de perception et capacité d’ajuster le focus.

Environnement de travail

Le travail se déroule principalement à l’intérieur, mais parfois à l’extérieur sous divers conditions météorologiques. Aussi, accès à des pièces mécaniques mobiles, haute hauteur, produits chimiques caustiques, risque de choc électrique, explosifs et vibration. Niveau de bruit habituel modéré.
