Advance your career with Navacord as a Senior Underwriter specializing in Property & Casualty risks in a hybrid setup. This role is perfect for expert risk analysts focused on mentoring others. As a Senior Underwriter, you bring over ten years of experience in Property & Casualty to assess, price, and bind business deals. Your analytical skills are vital for making strategic decisions regarding coverage and terms, while you also play a key role in developing Junior and Intermediate Underwriters. You’ll engage with brokers and stakeholders, ensuring that all underwriting guidelines are met and maintained. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and price new and renewal business in Property & Casualty
- Analyze complex risks for informed underwriting decisions
- Review and customize insurance applications
- Maintain strong broker and client relationships
- Provide mentorship to junior colleagues to enhance their skills
- At least 10 years of Property & Casualty experience
- Broker Level 2 license in relevant provinces
- In-depth understanding of underwriting practices
- Strong communication abilities for relationship building
- Proficient with insurance management tools
