Allied Universal is seeking  Security Professional – Fulltime Warehouse Officer in Toronto, Ontario .

Location: Toronto, ON

Type : Fulltime Time

Pay Rate : $19.15 per hour

Shifts: Monday, Wed, Thurs, Friday | Day Shift | 07:00 to 15:00

Overview :

Allied Universal is currently seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Security Professional – Fulltime Warehouse Officer to support security operations at a manufacturing and warehousing facility in Toronto, ON . This position is responsible for controlling access at the site’s main gate, ensuring only authorized personnel, contractors, and deliveries enter the facility.

The Security Guard plays a critical role in protecting company assets, maintaining site safety, and supporting compliance within an active industrial environment operating 24/7.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Site Surveillance & Patrol: Perform regular patrols of the site and surrounding areas to ensure the security of the premises. Monitor all entry points for unauthorized access.
• Visibility & Coverage: Maintain high visibility at the designated posts. Ensure security coverage near sensitive areas within the site.
• Access Control: Enforce site access protocols by verifying the identification of authorized personnel, logging visitor entry and exit, and ensuring that gates and doors remain securely locked when not in use.
• Communication: Maintain clear and constant communication via radio with other security personnel. Report incidents, unusual activities, or security concerns promptly.
• Emergency Response: Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches. Contact emergency services and assist as necessary.
• Incident Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incidents, and patrols. Complete shift reports and provide detailed handover notes for the next shift.
• Site & Asset Protection: Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to site materials and equipment. Ensure all property is secured at all times.
• Compliance with Safety Procedures: Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures on-site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
• General Security Duties: Ensure the overall safety and security of the site and surrounding areas by addressing any security risks or safety concerns that arise during the shift.

REQUIREMENTS :

• 1-2 years Gatehouse Operations Experience
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old or above for insurance purposes
• Must have great written and Oral communication skills
• Must have great Knowledge of using computer, Willing to work if needed on holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR
