Job Responsibility:
Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Industrial Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will assist in various electrical projects, including panel building, machine wiring, installation and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of industrial electrical systems, be comfortable working with power tools and hand tools, and possess the ability to design and read blueprints and schematics. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and skill development within the electrical field and robotics.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, build and installation of industrial electrical systems on custom machines.
- Draw, read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics to understand project requirements.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
- Help renovate existing electrical systems to meet updated standards or client specifications.
- Work with low voltage systems as needed for machine automation, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components; experience as a maintenance person or in a related industrial field is a plus.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
- Experience using power tools and hand tools safely in a work environment.
- Understanding of low voltage applications is preferred.
- Ability to work well in a team setting while also being capable of independent problem-solving.
- Willingness to learn about industrial electrician practices and logic controllers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Willingness to learn robotic programming
- Programing of PLC would be an asset.
