Hiring a New General Manager for Franks Pizza and Bar

FRANKS Pizza & Bar is looking for a hands-on General Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant.

This is a service-focused management role for someone who enjoys being on the floor and working alongside their team. The successful candidate will regularly bartend and serve while also handling the administrative and leadership responsibilities of the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations and maintain strong service standards
• Work hands-on behind the bar and on the floor
• Create a welcoming experience for guests
• Recruit, train, schedule and support the team
• Manage inventory, ordering and cost controls
• Complete payroll, reporting and other administrative duties
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and licensing standards
• Help grow sales and build strong relationships within the community
• Communicate effectively with ownership and the culinary team

What We’re Looking For

• Previous restaurant management experience
• Strong bartending and serving skills
• A confident, approachable and supportive leadership style
• Good organizational and administrative abilities
• An understanding of labour, inventory and restaurant cost controls
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of the operation
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as required
