Nanny Wanted - Looking For Before And Afterschool Care In Lower Lonsdale

Before & After School Nanny – North Vancouver I’m looking for a reliable, warm and responsible nanny to provide before and after school care for my 8-year-old daughter in North Vancouver. Hours Monday to Friday 7:00–9:00 a.m. 3:00–5:00 p.m. Approximately 20 hours per week during the school year. The middle of the day is completely free, so this could work particularly well for someone with another daytime job, university/college commitments, or other flexible work. Morning responsibilities include:

• Arriving at our home at 7:00 a.m.
• Supervising breakfast and the morning routine
• Making sure she is ready for school
• Walking her to school for the start of the school day

Afternoon responsibilities include:

• Walking to school for pickup at approximately 3:00 p.m.
• Walking home with her
• Preparing a simple snack
• Helping with homework if needed, or simply hanging out and supervising until I return from work at approximately 5:00 p.m.

The school is within easy walking distance of our home, so no driving or vehicle is required. This is primarily a childcare role rather than a housekeeping position. My daughter is 8 and fairly independent. The priority is finding someone kind, dependable and comfortable becoming part of our regular school-week routine. Reliability is particularly important as I work on site and need to leave home by 7:00 a.m. Rate: $22–25/hour, depending on experience. I’m looking for someone who can make a consistent commitment for the school year.
