Radiation Safety Officer at Specialized Nuclear Services

Join a leading nuclear services company in Bruce County as a Radiation Safety Officer. Drive safety compliance in radiation protection and ensure operational excellence for a vital industry. The ideal candidate will lead the Radiation Protection Program while ensuring adherence to CNSC regulations and ALARA principles. With at least five years in radiation protection, you will conduct assessments, manage dose tracking, and coordinate training programs to enhance safety protocols in nuclear operations. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and improve the Radiation Protection Program
• Ensure compliance with CNSC regulations and licence requirements
• Conduct radiological assessments and contamination control
• Review Radiological Exposure Permits and field support
• Administer dosimetry, dose tracking, and reporting Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Engineering, Health Physics, or related field
• Formal Radiation Safety Officer training
• Over 5 years of radiation protection experience
• Familiarity with ALARA planning and dose assessments
• Strong knowledge of CNSC regulations Bring your expertise in radiation safety to support the nuclear industry in Bruce County.
