About This Location:

Our Home Office is located in the heart of Bloor West Village in Toronto, just steps away from Jane Subway station. This position is a hybrid role where your time will be spent in office and working from home, based on operational requirements.

About This Role:

Reporting to the Manager, Investment Operations and following Company and Investment Operations Department policies and procedures.

Key Qualifications and Demonstrated Abilities:

• Completion of a college diploma or equivalent in accounting.
• 3+ years related accounting/bookkeeping experience.
• Demonstrated analytical, mathematical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate computer skills, vast knowledge of MS Office software and work experience with an accounting software package.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistently high level of accuracy.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; verbal, written and presentation.
• Knowledge of processes and procedures surrounding internal, external or regulatory audits would be an asset.
• Demonstrated strong customer service skills with the ability to partner with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accounting ledgers for various funds, preparing various trust reports and calculating trust withdrawals.
• You will have the opportunity to contribute to the Investment Operations Department's ability to meet its strategic, financial and business objectives by accurately reflecting the trust account balances of each customer account, verifying and updating trustee statements, ledgers and bank statements and complying with all provincial legislation pertaining to assigned provinces.
