Nanny Wanted - We Are Seeking A Permanent Full Time Live Out Nanny For Our Busy Family Of Five Starting Asap

About Us: We are a busy family of five who live in the Bowmanville area. We both are working professionals in the healthcare and/or education fields. Our eldest daughter is 7 years old and is attending school Our son is approximately 4 and youngest a little over 1 year old. We are hopeful to find a hardworking, caring and organized individual to join our family. Position Overview:

• Start ASAP
• Variable hours - 40-44 hour work week - given nature of parents' work, if longer day, shorter day another day of week
• Working hours between 7am to 7pm - generally 8am-4pm, but may vary based off parent work schedule
• Monday to Friday; rarely Saturday or Sunday
• Negotiable hourly wage
• Smoke free and pet free home

Role Requirements:

• First Aid and CPR certification
• Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector check upon hiring
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Driver preferred

Childcare Responsibilities:

• Provide nurturing, healthy, tidy and safe environment for children
• Prepare nutritious snacks and meals
• Follow routine/schedule for meals, naps, bathing set out by parents
• Engage children, being proactive in carrying out age-appropriate activities such as reading, puzzles, crafts, sports and outdoor play
• Discipline children in a manner consistent with approach requested by parents
• Maintain open communication (verbal and non-verbal) with parents and children

Possible non-childcare Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping including tidying after meals and meal prep
• Meal prep
• General tidying of rooms
• Other delegated tasks
