- Provide professional nursing care to residents
- Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals
- Notify physicians of significant changes in resident status
- Supervise Personal Support Workers on the care team
- Participate in shift reports for continuous care
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards
- Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario
- Understanding of geriatric nursing principles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for enhancing residents' quality of life
