Be part of an elite, specialized security team! We are seeking high-caliber Critical Response Team Security Guards who thrive under pressure and excel in fast-paced, challenging environments. This role requires exceptional decision-making skills, advanced training, and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving scenarios. As a member of our Critical Response Team, you will be ready to take on short notice shifts and travel to nearby cities throughout the Thompson and Cariboo regions to safeguard the community, property, and assets in situations that demand the highest level of preparedness and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel within and surrounding cities
• Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, and critical situations
• Access control and alarm response
• Provide tactical support and reinforcement to frontline security teams
• Conduct high-visibility patrols and proactive threat deterrence
• Safeguard high-value assets and sensitive environments
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required

Shifts will vary from week to week, but you can expect to work 8 to 40 hours per week (based on your availability) and eligible to receive daily and weekly overtime pay.    

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security License
• BC Class 5 driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to serve as a shelter
• Advanced security or tactical training (use of force, crisis intervention, defensive tactics, etc.) are preferred, but not required
• Must have either Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced First Aid Training
• Minimum 1 year of experience in security preferred (Industrial/Healthcare/Campus)
• Physical ability to respond to demanding situations
• Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
• Flexibility for various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
• All our Officers are required to carry a valid Security License.

Valid BC Security Licence
