The Role
Mac’s II Agencies is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support our Lighting and Electrical divisions. This office-based role, located either in Coquitlam or Victoria, serves as a key point of contact for our distributor partners, providing product support, pricing, order management, warranty assistance, and exceptional customer service across our stock lighting and electrical product portfolio.
The successful candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced environment while working closely with both customers and manufacturers.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email with professionalism and urgency
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare pricing and quotations for stock lighting and electrical products
- Coordinate order status, shipping, and delivery with customers and manufacturers
- Manage warranty claims, returns, shortages, and damaged product requests
- Provide product recommendations and technical support for stock products
- Work closely with manufacturers to resolve product availability, lead time, and order issues
- Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and order information within company systems
- Identify opportunities to promote additional products and manufacturer solutions
- Build strong, long-term relationships with distributor partners and vendor representatives
- Continuously expand product knowledge across our lighting and electrical portfolio
- Support the Inside Sales team to ensure an exceptional customer experience
Skills & Requirements
- Strong customer service mindset with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Experience in lighting, electrical distribution, or the construction industry is considered an asset
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems is an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
