This position is a 12-month co-op/new grad placement beginning January 2027.

About the role:

As a  Supply Chain Associate, Co-op/New Grad at Boston Scientific, you will assist the Supply Chain department with overseeing systems, process support, report creation, based on business requirements. This position will provide operational and administrative support to Supply Chain, including Purchasing, Planning and Logistics.

Work mode:  At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Relocation: Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Leading Inventory data collection to identify excess and deficit for Healthy Stock and Quarterly reserve review. Follow up on defined actions.
• Support purchasing activities by creating and maintaining PO, tracking supplier actions, and coordinating follow-up actions to ensure timely material delivery.
• Assist with inventory control and material planning activities to maintain optimal inventory levels and mitigate supply risks.
• Support monthly & quarterly master data maintenance & audits
• Receive and respond to updates and concerns regarding shipment status.
• Assisting on completion of customs paperwork for shipments destined outside of Canada.
• Recommend process enhancements to improve service and efficiency when possible.
• On time e-training completion.
• In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
• Other duties as required.

Required qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated within the past 12 months from, a degree program in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations and or Logistics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous co-op, internship, or project experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, inventory management, or operations is preferred.

The anticipated compensation and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see --will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. 

Compensation for hourly, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for salaried, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for sales roles is governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives).
