Mid-Level BIOS Software Engineer

Engage as a Mid-Level BIOS Software Engineer specializing in low-level firmware development for CPU products. Innovate by designing solutions that enhance secure and reliable system boot procedures. Your role will involve close collaboration with hardware engineers for CPU integration and ongoing feature development in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in C programming is necessary, along with strong problem-solving skills to address complex issues in BIOS and boot loader software. You’ll also lead mentoring initiatives for newer engineers. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain CPU firmware
• Develop automated tests in C, C++, and Python
• Collaborate with vendors and hardware teams
• Track Linux Kernel developments for internal needs
• Analyze and resolve customer-related firmware issues

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or related field with 3 years’ experience
• Expert knowledge in C, familiarity with C++ and Python preferred
• Strong experience in BIOS development and testing
• Understanding of CPU architectures
• Ability to document and communicate designs clearly
