Someone who identifies a hazard, speaks up, and never takes a shortcut because it's faster.Benefits:- Wage starting from $27.00/hr, with growth based on performance and tenure- Full benefits - medical, dental, and vision coverage- Stable, full-time employment with a North American company that's growing- A safety culture that's real - your team has your back and expects the same from you- Work you can point to - the pipe you make shows up in real infrastructure projects- A skilled crew you can learn from - and the chance to grow into senior operator or leadership roles#applytoday## Job Duties* Operate and monitor the ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) pipe mill line from coil entry through forming, welding, and cut-to-length* Perform quality checks at your station - dimensional inspection, weld integrity, and surface condition - and flag non-conformances immediately* Operate overhead crane to move coils, pipe sections, and finished product safely and efficiently* Set up, adjust, and fine-tune mill tooling and roll configurations as directed* Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report any deficiencies before running the line* Support changeovers between pipe sizes or product runs - speed and accuracy matter here* Work closely with QA/QC, maintenance, and the coil yard to keep production flowing and on-spec* Document production data accurately - footage, heat numbers, inspection results, downtime* Maintain a clean and organized work area; housekeeping is a safety function, not an afterthought## Qualifications* Class 5 driver's license* Background in steel manufacturing, pipe mill, or structural steel production - strongly preferred; this experience shortens your ramp-up time significantly* Heavy industrial or manufacturing experience - if you've run a production line, operated process equipment, or worked in a plant environment, tell us about it* Overhead crane certification or experience - a strong asset; we will train the right candidate* Mechanical aptitude - you understand how machinery works and can troubleshoot basic issues before calling maintenance* Quality-conscious - you know the difference between \"close enough\" and \"on-spec\" and you don't confuse the two* Strong safety record and a genuine commitment to safe work practices in a hazardous industrial environment* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment - on your feet, in varying temperatures, with heavy materials* Team-oriented and reliable - your crew depends on you showing up and showing up ready #J-18808-Ljbffr
