Thermal & Fluid Dynamics Engineer - Aerospace

A unique opportunity as a Thermal & Fluid Dynamics Engineer awaits you in aerospace, offering a hybrid work model from Toronto or Montreal. Utilize your knowledge in CFD and thermodynamics to solve complex challenges.

This role involves authoring and revising engineering documents, solving heat transfer and pipe network flow problems, and conducting fluid-heat transfer studies. Your master’s in mechanical or aerospace engineering and extensive CFD experience (5-8 years minimum) will be critical. You'll also facilitate test plans, contributing to ground and flight tests while interpreting simulation results.

Key Responsibilities: • Revise and create engineering practice documentation • Analyze coupled fluid and heat transfer phenomena • Develop plans and interpret results for aircraft design • Capture findings from various testing methods • Support both ground tests and flight evaluation processes

Requirements: • Master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering • 5+ years of internal flow CFD expertise • Proficient in Star-CCM+, Ansys Fluent, and SpaceClaim • Programming experience in Unix and various languages • Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel
