Flight Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage aircraft flight test programs.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and execution strategies.
• Oversee flight test instrumentation, data acquisition, and analysis.
• Coordinate with pilots, engineering teams, and certification authorities.
• Support safety assessments, handling qualities evaluations, and certification activities.
• Review and present flight test results and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
• 15+ years of engineering experience
• 5+ years of flight test engineering or flight test management experience
• Strong knowledge of flight test planning, execution, and data analysis
• Experience with certification processes and flight test operations preferred
• Familiarity with human factors, handling qualities, and safety processes is an advantage
