Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Responsibility:
Job Duties:
Perform temperature measurement during forging and heat treatment operation.
Assist with customer for inspection witness activities.
Perform dimensional and visual inspection
Collect and review process data.
Prepare inspection reports, history file, and non-conformance reports
Perform Brinell hardness inspection which involves grinding and polishing of parts.
Ensure company quality procedures are up to date.
Perform other duties as specified by Quality Supervisor or Plant Manager
Requirements:
College diploma or certificate in Quality or Manufacturing engineering is beneficial.
1 to 2 years of work experience in quality field.
Working knowledge in the use of Tape Measure, Calipers, and Micrometers.
Good computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Motivated team player with strong communication skills
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
Ability to stand for extended periods and must be able to lift 30 lbs.
Must reside in Ontario.
