Strategic Director of Marketing at CANS

Take the lead in marketing and communications at the Construction Association of Nova Scotia as the Director in this highly influential role. You will be tasked with advancing CANS's strategic vision and brand through innovative communication techniques and leadership. This role directly supports the President & CEO, overseeing comprehensive marketing efforts, team mentorship, and brand integrity across all media. As Director, you will cultivate relationships with stakeholders, manage complex communication projects, and ensure a positive brand image in the construction sector. Engaging analytics and performance metrics will guide your strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to industry goals
- Monitor and maintain the CANS brand across various outreach platforms
- Supervise a talented marketing team focusing on diverse projects
- Drive SEO and email marketing initiatives with impactful content
- Report on KPI outcomes to senior leadership
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic marketing roles
- Expertise in digital marketing and analytics
- Exceptional storytelling and content creation skills
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
- Experience with government relations is a plus
