Microsoft Purview Security Consultant

Drive data governance and compliance as a Microsoft Purview Security Consultant. Utilize PowerShell, Python, and KQL for automation and support Microsoft Sentinel and Defender functionalities.

In this role, you will implement Microsoft Purview for effective data governance and classification. Develop automation scripts to enhance capabilities using PowerShell, Python, and KQL. Additionally, you’ll configure Microsoft Defender and manage the deployment of Microsoft Sentinel, ensuring robust incident response and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities: • Implement Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance • Develop scripting and automation solutions for efficiencies • Configure and manage Microsoft Defender suite • Deploy and support Microsoft Sentinel for monitoring and alerts • Build queries, dashboards, and detection rules in KQL

Requirements: • Reliability or Secret Clearance required • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Purview • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender and Sentinel • Scripting skills: PowerShell, Python, KQL • Azure security and monitoring background
