Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age and meet the requirements listed below.Joining our Canada’s Wonderland team means you’ll provide guests with exceptional service when they visit the park.You’ll also… Coordinate and supervisor the daily operations of all Show and Event Usher Programs to ensure a high-level of guest service and a positive guest experience Assist with the interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management of ushers through pre-season and operation Responsible for assisting with implementation of effective crowd management plans, completing daily reports of attendance, and maintaining facility and program documentation to ensure all information is current Ensure effective communication with contracted Special Event groups Introduce new ideas in collaboration with management and the usher program, and communicate daily to maintain a positive work environment Ensure that all Ushers are treated fairly and have a positive working experience Abide by all Canada’s Wonderland policies and procedures as set out by the park and the Entertainment Department Ensure that all safety standards and practices are met Maintain cleanliness of facilities as assigned Assist with other duties as required Some of our amazing perks and benefits: FREE Admission to Canada’s Wonderland and other parks! Candidates that are a minimum of 18 years of age Individuals enrolled in or a graduate of a post-secondary institution Strong computer literacy skills with experience in using Microsoft Excel, and Word is required Someone who is organized with proven leadership & communication skills as well as excellent people management & guest service skills Previous park experience and must be able to stand for extended periods of time (an asset) Candidates that are able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Availability that includes working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
