Courier (Mount Pearl)

This is an interview position. Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient pick‑up and delivery of packages on an assigned route. • Check all shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service. • Provide related customer service functions. Qualifications

High school diploma or educational equivalent. Valid driver’s license and good driving record; abstract with no more than two violations or accidents in the 24 months prior to application. Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment. One year of customer‑oriented business experience preferred. Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre‑placement driver assessment training. Knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset. Good interpersonal and communication skills, time‑management and organizational skills. Excellent customer service skills; ability to multitask, handle stress in a highly pressured environment. Willingness to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays based on business needs. If residing in Quebec, be bilingual in French and English. Preferred Qualifications
