Senior Director Process Systems Engineering

Lead process and systems engineering strategy at AtkinsRéalis, applying nuclear engineering expertise, governance, and operational excellence to complex projects.This senior leadership position reports to the Vice President of Engineering and directs interlinked Process and System Engineering disciplines. You will establish technical standards, strengthen governance, support project delivery, and align capabilities with long-term business objectives. The function includes talent development, regulatory compliance, software oversight, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:
Define discipline standards, procedures, design guides, and best practicesOversee governance, technical escalation, and evidence-based decision-makingDrive regulatory compliance, design assurance, and continuous improvementLead Functional Managers, Directors, and Subject Matter ExpertsDevelop capability, succession, training, and resource plansRequirements:
Engineering or Science degree;
advanced degree preferredProfessional Engineer registration with PEO or equivalentMinimum 15 years of relevant experienceExperience leading significant engineering departments and multidisciplinary teamsKnowledge of nuclear safety, CANDU technology, and regulatory requirementsShape nuclear engineering standards, talent, governance, and delivery excellence as AtkinsRéalis’s senior process and systems leader.
