Medical Copywriter Pharmaceutical Advertising

Shape compliant pharmaceutical copy at Ogilvy Health using medical terminology, research, and precision. Collaborate across teams on healthcare communications in every medium.
As a Medical Copywriter, you will create promotional content for healthcare brands and audiences. You will work with Creatives, Client Services, Strat Planners, Project Managers, and Art Directors. Your work spans drafting, updating, proofreading, regulatory review, and final sign-off across assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write promotional copy across any medium
- Attend briefs and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Understand specifications and text restrictions with Art Directors
- Source references and provide disease-state insight
- Review and sign off pieces before release
Requirements:
- Promotional medical, pharmaceutical, or CME experience
- One to two years of copywriting experience
- Excellent English grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Medical terminology and pharmaceutical regulatory knowledge
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and manage priorities
