Be a Technical Fire Safety Officer for the Darlington New Nuclear Project. Ensure fire protection compliance, conduct technical evaluations, and manage fire safety assessments effectively on-site. This senior technical position requires expertise in fire hazard assessments and compliance with national fire safety codes. You will be instrumental in reporting, supporting fire risk assessments, and liaising with site managers to enhance fire safety operations. The role focuses on upholding technical standards during the facility's commissioning and operational phases. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead evaluations of fire protection systems
- Prepare service requisitions and technical reports
- Review and recommend on safety proposals
- Conduct fire risk and hazard assessments
- Support fire protection program compliance efforts
- Strong foundation in Fire Protection engineering
- Deep knowledge of applicable fire safety regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in nuclear environments is preferred
