Snowflake expertise and data engineering leadership define this onsite Toronto role, focused on scalable pipelines and enterprise cloud data delivery.Next Pathway seeks an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer supporting a major enterprise client’s new Snowflake data platform. You will lead a team while developing pipelines, ELT and ETL processes, data integrations, and analytics-ready datasets. The work includes Snowflake-native development, data modeling, performance optimization, and stakeholder collaboration.Key Responsibilities:
Lead a data engineering team supporting enterprise platform deliveryDesign scalable pipelines for Snowflake ingestion and transformationDevelop batch and near real-time ELT and ETL processesBuild Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, tasks, and streamsOptimize queries, models, transformations, costs, and operational efficiencyRequirements:
Four or more years in data engineering or cloud platformsTwo or more years of hands-on Snowflake developmentStrong SQL development and data modeling skillsEnterprise pipeline, integration, dimensional modeling, and data mart experienceExcellent communication with business and technical stakeholdersApply Snowflake, SQL, pipeline, and leadership expertise to deliver reliable enterprise data solutions from Downtown Toronto.
