About this opportunity:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an HR Field Advisor 1 to support HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, reporting, and program administration across Canada. This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with data, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
The successful candidate will support onboarding activities, HR program delivery, reporting and analytics, immigration-related coordination, and administrative HR functions while partnering closely with multiple HR teams and stakeholders. This position offers valuable exposure to a broad range of HR disciplines and the opportunity to contribute to large-scale HR programs that impact employee experience and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Support HR operations and employee lifecycle activities across Canada.
- Partner with HR Generalists and leadership teams to support HR programs and initiatives.
- Organize and triage HR inboxes, ensuring timely responses and connecting employees with appropriate resources.
- Assist with onboarding-related activities and HR program coordination.
- Prepare, validate, maintain, and analyze HR data using Excel.
- Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate trends and insights.
- Utilize AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to improve reporting efficiency and summarize data.
- Support immigration-related inquiries by coordinating with appropriate internal teams.
- Maintain HR documentation, systems, distribution lists, and program records.
- Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and administrative HR functions.
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of recurring deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support HR operations and program execution.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, Business Administration, or a related function (internships and co-op experience considered).
- Experience working within a large, fast-paced, or matrixed organization.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including:
- VLOOKUP
- Pivot Tables
- Data analysis and reporting
- Experience creating reports, presentations, and operational dashboards.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools and prompt-writing techniques to improve productivity and reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HR-related systems.

- Experience working with budgets, invoice management, or program administration.
