Role Overview:

We’re looking for a highly motivated Bioinformatics contractor to join a collaborative computational biology team working at the intersection of AI and healthcare. This full-time role focuses on developing next-generation NGS assays and advancing liquid biopsy research through cutting-edge bioinformatics and machine learning approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and scale bioinformatics pipelines for cfDNA NGS datasets

• Analyze genomic mutations and explore novel biomarker discovery

• Build reproducible ML models for biomarker validation

• Create data visualizations for genomic insights and R&D presentations

• Collaborate with bioinformaticians and cross-functional teams to support clinical research initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

✔ Strong Python, Bash, and Linux/Unix skills

✔ Experience with NGS, sequence alignment, and structural variant detection

✔ Familiarity with ML frameworks (scikit-learn, pandas, etc.)

✔ Experience with HPC environments (Slurm or equivalent)

✔ Knowledge of workflow tools like Nextflow/Snakemake and Docker/Singularity is a plus

✔ Background in liquid biopsy, cfDNA/ctDNA, or cancer genomics is highly valued

⭐ Candidates with publications in computational biomarker discovery and/or AI/ML applications in genomics will receive priority consideration.
