Days & Hours: Full time with potential for overtime

Wage: $30-62 per hour

Cariboo Chilcotin Divers Ltd. is looking for a hardworking, mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Diver Tender. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team and will contribute to all aspects of our operations.

Based out of Quesnel, BC, we work throughout Western Canada providing underwater inspection, maintenance, repair, dredging, ROV services and much more for our municipal, industrial, and resource-sector clients.

This position is based in Quesnel, BC. Preference will be given to applicants who currently reside in the area or are willing to relocate.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to travel throughout Western Canada
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Self-motivated and capable of being productive without constant supervision
• Valid drivers license
• Commercial diving experience is preferred, will train the right candidate

Additional Skills We Value:

• Class 3 driver’s license
• Heavy trailer endorsement
• Crane operator certification and/or experience
• Experience with pumps, hydraulics & diesel engines
• Welding & fabrication skills
• Marine experience, including boat operation
