Job Title: Delivery Fulfillment Specialist (DFS)
Location : Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Reports To : Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager
Position Overview
Brown's Auto Supply is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Fulfillment Specialist (DFS) to ensure timely and accurate deliveries of automotive paints, materials, and equipment to our customers. This role is critical in maintaining on-time order fulfillment, customer satisfaction, and efficient logistics operations . The ideal candidate has experience in delivery operations, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing excellent service to body shops, dealerships, and automotive service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment & Delivery
- Accurately pick, pack, and load orders for delivery based on customer requests.
- Ensure safe and timely deliveries of automotive paints, materials, and equipment to customers across Ontario.
- Verify order accuracy before departure and resolve any discrepancies.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Provide friendly and professional service when delivering to customers.
- Communicate with customers to confirm deliveries and address any immediate concerns.
- Serve as a company representative by maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude during all interactions.
Vehicle & Safety Compliance
- Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with road regulations and company policies.
- Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials , including following all safety protocols for automotive paints and chemicals.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections , ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness.
Warehouse & Logistics Support
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments as needed.
- Support the warehouse team in stocking, organizing, and inventory control .
- Help identify and resolve any logistical issues that could delay deliveries.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and proof of delivery documents .
- Report any delays, vehicle issues, or customer concerns to the warehouse or operations manager.
- Communicate inventory shortages or delivery challenges to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in delivery, fulfillment, logistics, or a related role.
- Valid G-class driver's license (or equivalent) with a clean driving record .
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of Ontario's road safety regulations and hazardous material handling procedures .
Preferred Skills
- Experience in automotive distribution or warehouse operations .
- Familiarity with automotive paints, refinishing materials, and equipment .
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
